AUGARTEN WIEN  (Vienna, Austria)
One of the oldest porcelain manufactories, still carrying out "every step" by hand at Augarten Palace, site of a former imperial hunting lodge. They offer annual workshops for children; tours, exhibitions and a factory shop; wedding lists; news of new patterns and a list of retailers. AUSTRALIAN MUSHROOMS ON HAND PAINTED ROYAL WORCESTER PORCELAIN  
"A short history of the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company is provided. Mushroom designs for painting on porcelain by the Australian artist Phyllis Flockton Clarke are discussed, as is the series of plates and teawares produced for the Australian market and painted with these designs." The Worcester artists were William Hart and Reginald Austin.
