Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (Dresden, Germany)
About the museums of the Dresden State Art Collections, their resources, exhibitions and events. The Porcelain Collection in the Zwinger, one of "the most important" in the world, includes Chinese ware, Japanese Imari and Kakiemon porcelain. Pieces by Boettger, Kaendler and Hoeroldt illustrate the development of Meissen porcelain. The Zwinger reopened in 2002 after renovations.
