Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur (Sitzendorf, Germany)
This "glass and porcelain manufactory", established in 1850, has a collection of some 20,000 different models and is especially noted for its lace "Dresden style" figurines. Their online catalogue shows these and other decorative pieces, lamps, clocks and gifts, etc.; distributors are listed by country. Other pages cover a history of the local industry, events and factory facilities. The latter include a regional museum, demonstration and sales rooms, and an Academy offering brief courses in making and decorating porcelain.

Societe du Musee canadien des civilisations = Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation (Gatineau, Quebec, Canada)
The Corporation preserves "almost one million artifacts and works of art", many in the Canadian Museum of Civilization (select from menu or Quick Links). Use menus or Search to find specific pages such as 19th-century pottery and porcelain, ceramics in the Treasures Gallery, and items in Collections Storage (porcelain, serving platters, etc.) Don’t miss the section on the 1897 Canadian Historical Dinner Service, painted by members of the Women's Art Association of Canada. It includes details about the artists, plus images of each unique piece; the service itself is housed in Haddo House, Scotland.
