Malschule Lenggries  (Andreas Knobl. Lenggries, Germany)
This School teaches drawing and painting, ranging from acrylics, watercolours and oils to airbrushing and porcelain painting. Groups or individuals can study topics such as anatomy, portrait painting and portfolio preparation. The School also sells supplies, restores porcelain and can accept commissions.
Online galleries include examples of porcelain painting by School founder Andreas Knobl. In Sept. 2011 Knobl co-hosts their annual porcelain painting event with Irene Barkmann.

Manufacture nationale de Sevres  (Sevres, France)
The Sevres porcelain factory was established in the Chateau of Vincennes in 1740. It soon acquired royal patronage, was bought by Louis XV in 1759, moved to Sevres and is now the property of the French government. Browse the site for further information, slideshows and images of wares for sale, or inquire about group tours of their "workshops and production techniques".
Collectors admire the quality of Sevres early soft paste porcelain; later hard paste wares are also unique, hand painted and finely gilded. When visiting don't miss the outstanding collection in the adjacent Musee national de ceramique-Sevres.
