ariana  (Le Musée Ariana. Geneva, Switzerland)
Ariana, housed in a restored Italian Renaissance building, is also known as the Musée suisse de la céramique et du verre (Swiss Museum of Ceramics and Glass). It has over 25,000 ceramic and glass items dating from the Middle Ages on, from Europe and the Middle and Far East. Items, mainly European, include porcelain from manufactories such as Sèvres and Nyon. Activities include tours, workshops and study programmes; resources include a specialized library and book-shop.
