JUDY CHICAGO. Through the Flower (Belen, New Mexico, United States)
Artwork and information about the artist Judy Chicago and the Through the Flower corporation. Choose Gallery, Dinner Party to see her famous banquet installation featuring 39 "china-painted" table settings. The table itself sits on a floor of 2,304 triangular porcelain tiles carrying the names of notable women. This work will form the centerpiece of Brooklyn Museum's new Feminist Art Center, where the installation is due to re-open in early 2007.
