The Future of The China Painting List

To my new readers, Welcome, and I hope that you enjoy your visit; and to my regular visitors, Welcome back.

It's hard to believe, but as of last November I've been compiling The List for 9 years. It has grown enormously in that time, and now has 1070 entries.

Editing now takes a lot of time, so I can no longer keep both site and newsletter going in their present forms. I'm very grateful to those who've made donations to help with costs, but now I need to make some changes.

Entries in The List will remain free and I won't be accepting ads. I will however drop some subjects from The List and concentrate more on personal websites. (You can see the present directory subjects here.) I'm also trying out different versions of the newsletter, and will let subscribers know as soon as the changes are in place.

Despite the above, it's not too late to express an opinion - so if you have a suggestion, please write in and let me know.
