Images on CDHere are some samples from my first CD of images, prepared as a resource for fellow artists and china painters. This CD is the first of my China Painting List flora series, and has 78 images of Jacarandas. Jacarandas are stunning when in flower and are closely associated with my home town, Brisbane. Here you can see them in commercial areas, streets and parks, and of course on private properties. I have taken many photos of them over several years, and selected the best for this collection. Most were taken in 2004, which was a wonderful year for jacarandas - so although I'm not a professional photographer, I think that you will enjoy them too.
I used the image above, shown here much reduced in size, as my Xmas card for 2004. Most images on the CD are 1600 x 1200 pixels. (At 300 dpi they may look large on a monitor, but make high-quality, postcard-sized prints.) The first two samples below are also greatly reduced in size, while the third shows part of a close-up photo.
